On Music…

I find it funny how some people claim to love music, but will not accept dub or djent as forms of music, but will accept pretty much all rap and hip-hop. They just aren’t YOUR favored types of music. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t exist.
I personally am not fond of country. I don’t say it shouldn’t exist. There are songs that I have found in that genre that I like. I don’t hate rap and hip-hop; I am just Really selective about what I like. I acknowledge it all as music.
I follow a very liberal definition of the word “music” (look up John Cage; his works are still considered music to me, along with djent, dub and the like). If you truly love music, it should not be limited to what you hear on the radio and classically styled pieces.
I think I’m done ranting on this for now. -
